You have a job. You put food on the table, pay your bills, and possibly own a house and a car, or a ton of houses and cars.
But you feel enslaved. You are bound by invisible chains that tell you what to think, deprive you of your dreams that once made your heart sing, and remind you constantly just how undeserving you are in “the real world.”
More and more of us are awakening to our true spiritual nature every day. In addition to some of the common and uncommon “awakening symptoms,” teary struggles and glorious “aha” moments we experience, our interactions with the world can get even trickier when we are surrounded by those who are still deep asleep.
So many of us treat life like a grocery list and as we finish doing and accomplishing one task, we put a check mark next to it and move onto the next one. What if our mission has nothing to do with what we do? What if it is as effortless as living as our authentic selves and following whatever inspires us?
Have you ever felt there is a ball of words stuck in your throat that you have to swallow hard to keep it down? What about those times when you are dying to say “no” but “yes” comes out, and you beat yourself up afterwards? Do you often feel like a doormat, a victim, or someone who has been taken advantage of? If this sounds like you (even occasionally), you are not alone. Read on to find out why not speaking up is detrimental to your life and health, and how to do it.
Most of us desire abundance in life (please note, abundance applies to everything and not just money), however, our programmed beliefs are often standing between us and what we desire. If you are not fully living the life of your dreams and receiving what you desire from the Universe, find out if you are currently holding onto these abundance blocks and how to transform them.
“You are loved just for being who you are, just for existing. You don’t have to do anything to earn it. Your shortcomings, your lack of self-esteem, physical perfection, or social and economic success – none of that matters. No one can take this love away from you, and it will always be there.” – Ram Dass
Remember, life is never about anyone else but you. With every ‘negative” experience or person, there is always a gift (and it could be something that isn’t revealed until years or decades later) buried underneath that presents you with an opportunity to create a grander version of yourself.
Every moment is a moment of choice and creation, every moment is an opportunity for us to decide and declare to the world who we desire to be. If we happen to slip, it is perfectly ok. The next moment is always available upon us just like the next breath for us to choose again. If it takes choosing differently every minute of every hour for us to live a conscious life, so be it.
